The typical composition includes: Nickel (32–38%), Chromium (19–21%), Iron (Balance), Copper (2–3%), Molybdenum (2–3%), along with trace amounts of carbon, manganese, and silicon. This unique blend provides outstanding resistance to sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and chloride environments. On the mechanical side, Alloy 20 Pipes boast a tensile strength ranging from 485 to 690 MPa, a yield strength of about 170 to 310 MPa, and good elongation (30–40%). They also demonstrate excellent toughness, weldability, and formability while maintaining their shape under high temperatures.
