Stainless Steel 202 Pipes are austenitic stainless steels composed primarily of iron, chromium (17–19%), and manganese (7.5–10%), with lower nickel content compared to 300-series grades. This composition provides good strength and moderate corrosion resistance. Typical tensile strength ranges from 515–750 MPa, with yield strength around 275–345 MPa. Stainless Steel 202 offers good hardness, formability, and wear resistance. While its corrosion resistance is slightly lower than 304, it performs well in mild environments, making it suitable for applications requiring strength and cost efficiency.
