Stainless Steel 317/317L Seamless Tubing is composed primarily of iron, chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–15%), and molybdenum (3–4%). The molybdenum significantly improves resistance to pitting and chemical corrosion. Grade 317L has lower carbon content, reducing sensitization and improving weldability. Typical tensile strength ranges from 515–690 MPa, with yield strength of approximately 205–275 MPa. Seamless construction eliminates weld seams, ensuring consistent wall thickness, excellent mechanical integrity, and dependable performance under pressure and corrosive conditions.
