Hastelloy Coil Tubing is generally crafted from alloys like Hastelloy C-22, C-276, or C-2000. These alloys are primarily composed of nickel (about 55–60%), with notable amounts of molybdenum (13–17%), chromium (14.5–22%), along with iron, cobalt, and trace elements of tungsten and copper. This unique blend offers remarkable resistance to both strong oxidizing and reducing agents. Its mechanical properties boast tensile strength reaching up to 790 MPa, yield strength around 350 MPa, and impressive ductility and formability. The tubing maintains its mechanical integrity under high stress and shows exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
